NITW Researcher presents at 2015 EWRI
Dr. N. Umamahesh, Professor in Water and Environment Division, Department of Civil Engineering at National Institute of Technology presented his research titled "Multisite Downscaling of Monsoon Precipitation over Godavari River Basin under the RCP 4.5 Scenario" at the 2015 EWRI World Environmental & Water Resources Congress held during May 17-21, 2015 in Austin, TX. He co-authored this paper with Mr. Jew Das where they applied statistical downscaling techniques to monthly monsoon precipitation over Godavar River Basin in India. Their results indicated that the monsoon rainfall over the entire basin is showing an increasing trend.
